I don’t know what I was expecting, but I was surprised by the coolness of this scent – very herbaceous and almost minty-fresh upon application. And yet, it works to conjure a sense of comfort, familiarity, and has an emotionally stabilizing effect on me. It is a more subtle scent in many ways, and doesn’t last as long as some other BPALs (Hekate Chthonia, I’m looking at you and your 24-hours-later-and-still-going-strong power!) so I do find myself applying it more frequently when I’m in need of the gentle yet life-affirming comfort of Hestia’s hearth.

Not overpowering which is good, my partner doesn’t love strong scents on me. Been truly useful working through some tangles that have built up over the last years. I’m also a Pisces rising and this election has my moon in 5th as it is natally, along with my Libra stellium in 7th here definitely feel the emphasis on relationship/romance work here trying to undo and just get back to the simple joy of it. I use it in bath and on altar a lot, and on my heart chakra.

Vesta’s influence here encourages me to tend to the hearth within, and to be a welcoming figure to others who need to rest a bit by the fire <3 One thousand percent recommend, the scent has high notes of herbs like mint or rosemary but somehow is also deeply earthy and grounding.
